Georgia's Geographic Regions
Georgia has five major regions. These regions include the Appalachian Plateau, Ridge and Valley, Blue Ridge, Piedmont, and Coastal Plain.
The Appalachian Plateau is in the top right corner of Georgia. Next to the Appalachian Plateau is the Valley and Ridge. Last at the top is the Blue Ridge Region. Below those three, also the region we live in is the Piedmont Region. The biggest and home to the Okefenokee Swamp region is the Coastal Plain.
